Who is Khaleh Mona?

Khaleh Mona Bakes was born from a lifelong love of bringing people together through homemade desserts. Long before I ever dreamed of starting a bakery, I was the one family, friends, and coworkers called whenever there was a celebration, a holiday, or simply an excuse to gather around the table. Baking has always been my way of showing love, creating memories, and making people feel welcome.

Before opening Khaleh Mona Bakes, I spent many years as an educator. While teaching and baking may seem like very different paths, they share something important: both are rooted in serving others, building community, and creating experiences that bring people joy. Whether I was helping students grow or pulling a fresh batch of cookies from the oven, my greatest satisfaction has always come from seeing someone smile.

Today, every order is baked fresh in my licensed Arizona home kitchen using quality ingredients and plenty of care. Rather than offering an overwhelming menu, I focus on a small collection of signature treats made in limited batches so I can give each order the attention it deserves. From my oatmeal dark chocolate chip cookies and rich brookies to funfetti cakesicles and monthly mini cakes, everything is made with the hope that it becomes part of your own celebrations and traditions.

You may be wondering about the name. "Khaleh" (pronounced KAH-leh) means "aunt" in Persian. In many Persian families, a khaleh is someone who welcomes everyone with warmth, always has something delicious in the kitchen, and makes every guest feel like family. That spirit of generosity and hospitality is exactly what I hope you'll experience with every order.

From my kitchen to your table, thank you for letting me be part of your story.
